There are two different steps you can try to resolve a phone issue, updating the configuration, and rebooting.


If you have made changes to the phone's setup, either directly on the phone or via the comm portal and the changes do not appear, you will want to follow the instructions for updating your configuration. Please note all phones automatically perform an update nightly.


  • Press the Home button (right side of the phone, has a 'house' on it)
  • Select Settings
  • Select Basic
  • Scroll down to Update Configuration
  • Press Select


If this doesn't resolve the issue, however, you'll want to take the next step of rebooting the phone.


  • Press the Home button (right side of the phone, has a 'house' on it)
  • Select Settings
  • Select Basic
  • Scroll down to Restart Phone
  • Press Select
